TREATMENT MENU

Oral Hygiene

A healthy smile begins with regular dental checkups and good oral hygiene at home, for adults and children.  Dr. Eaton and his registered dental hygienists provide services to help you maintain the health and integrity of your teeth on an everyday basis.

In addition to educating patients about proper oral hygiene and decay (cavity) prevention, dental hygienists help patients understand the connection between oral health care and overall health.  Mounting evidence indicates the relationship between periodontal (gum) disease and life-threatening diseases such as oral cancer; heart disease; diabetes; respiratory ailments; and premature, low birth weight babies.  Dental hygienists can help prevent, or aggressively treat the active gum disease.  Nearly 75 percent of American adults suffer from various forms of gum disease and don’t know it.

Your children’s oral health is also very important to us.  Dental decay is one of the most common chronic infectious diseases among American children.  By age 17, dental decay has already affected 78 percent of children.  This preventable health problem left untreated may result in pain, dysfunction, and poor appearance.

Restoration

Old-fashioned silver fillings break down over time, and can cause the surrounding tooth to decay corrode, discolor and fracture. Dr. Eaton and his team provide only tooth-colored restorations to replace your old fillings or any future fillings. These strong, long-lasting restorations are not only more natural looking; they also strengthen the tooth that has been damaged by old fashioned dentistry.

Laser

Dr. Eaton uses a soft tissue diode laser that will quickly recontour gum tissue, treat apthous ulcers, kill bacteria found in periodontal pockets and much more.  This Laser is painless and a key to any restorative or periodontal therapy that you receive.

Whitening

Teeth that show signs of discoloration due to age, smoking, consuming coffee, tea or wine can achieve a healthy sparkle again. Our deep bleaching procedure will look just as good next year as it does the day you walk out our door.

Porcelain Veneers and Onlays

Teeth that are chipped, worn, or mildly misaligned can look fabulous again with porcelain veneers. As the name implies, veneers are durable thin layers of porcelain created to match the size and shape teeth that you desire. Each veneer is applied directly to the tooth creating an instant, beautiful change. Creating a natural-looking smile with veneers can be done in a few simple appointments.

Inlays and Onlays

With newer materials it is possible to bond teeth back together, virtually restoring them to their virgin strength without the invasiveness of full coverage crowns.  In the majority of circumstances’ metal fillings or crowns can be replaced with techniques that are more conservative.  It is possible to preserve the healthy remaining Tooth Structure rather than whittling teeth down as a pencil would be ground away by a pencil sharpener.

Full Mouth Rejuvenation

Full mouth rejuvenation involves restoring your teeth, bite, muscles and self-esteem back to a natural looking and youthful feeling Condition .A muscle imbalance in your jaw may be causing your teeth to wear down prematurely. If your teeth are chipped, broken or seem to be wearing down, you may need this type of full mouth rejuvenation.

Neuromuscular Dentistry

Neuromuscular dentistry is a form of dentistry that focuses on correcting misalignment of the jaw at the temporomandibular joint (TMJ). If you suffer from the symptoms of TMJ, including headaches, facial pain, neck and shoulder pain, ringing in the ears, dizziness, popping or painful jaws or teeth, you may suffer from TMJ. If diagnosed, Dr. Eaton can set you on a course of treatment to correct the problem.
